- These paper wraps replace traditional corn husks for wrapping tamales and can be much easier to work with. If you are serving the tamales to guests, you may want to rewrap them in an additional piece of paper prior to serving for aesthetic purposes
- Each paper wrap measures 9" x 9" and is coated with silicone on both sides. Also included is approximately 12 feet of cotton cooking twine that can be used to tie the ends, if desired. The masa will not stick to the interior of the wrappers and the silicone on the exterior of the wrap allows you to stack these without worries of sticking into your tamale steamer.
- Using these paper wraps can help make tamales that are more consistent in size and may make moister tamales and can be easier to work with than traditional tamale corn husks
- The tamale wraps are lightweight and the wrappers are slightly see through.
Talleeze tamale paper wraps are 9"x9" and are silicone coated on both sides of the paper to prevent sticking. Using paper to wrap tamales can be faster then using traditional corn husk wraps as there is no need to inspect for size consistency, worm holes, bugs, mold, etc. as there typically is with traditional corn husk wrappers.
