INNATE Response Formulas - Magnesium 300 mg Powder, Mineral Supplement, Vegetarian - 4.7 Oz (60 Servings)

I have been using this product for more than a year and still have chronically low magnesium levels. There are 3 different mags in this product (citrate/malate/glycinate) which have a strong laxative effect on me thus I am unable to consume enough to benefit my mag levels. So my healthcare team switched me over to a straight mag glycinate powder, which is having a less laxative effect and will hopefully elevate my mag levels.So why am I still using this product? Because it keeps me regular. I don't tolerate fiber so one scoop of Mag 300 plus additional ascorbic acid does the trick. Sometimes I don't need the C and just take the Mag 300 by itself.Kudos to Innate Formulas for the nice taste of this product. Most forms of magnesium are an acquired taste yet Innate has done a good job in formulating this product with just the right amount of stevia to sweeten the mix. For those who have never consumed stevia, it is very sweet natural herb (around 200 times sweeter than sugar) and due to the fine line between being sweet and bitter, it can take some getting used to. It reported to have no calories, is safe to use with candida and diabetes, as well as other things. But because it is so naturally sweet, it can be difficult to find just the right amount and Innate has done a great job at doing just that with this product. One suggestion I do have is to SHAKE/MIX the container thoroughly before opening. The reason I say this is because the very first time I tried this product, I scooped right from the top of a just opened container and got a mouthful of mostly stevia. So I now shake/mix the canister thoroughly before opening it and haven’t had that problem since.The other thing worth mentioning is that powdered forms of mag are subject to clumping. This product does not come with a desiccant moisture absorbent pillow so I use extras from other supplement products and throw some into the Mag 300 canister. And just as an added precaution, I also put a plastic sandwich bag under the lid then close the container. Every once in a while, particularly in humidity or during summer months, I will frequently shake the container before opening to break up any clumps that might be forming.They are now using this new style container that is narrower and taller than the old one. I was concerned until I opened the container and saw the longer handle scoop, which makes it easy to reach the bottom of the canister. So I like this compact narrow design better as it is easier to travel with.I am very pleased with Mag 300 and some of the other food state nutrient products made by Innate Formulas. They are a quality company who makes quality products and many are filler free.

This made a big difference in my sleep. I used to be the type of person to toss and turn and wake up frequently. In the morning, the sheets and blankets would be all over the place. Now I sleep through the night completely. The bed is practically still made when I get up. I'm really shocked at what a huge difference it is. I do feel like I have to take this not more than two hours before bed because it does make me tired. I don't like the taste, so I usually put it in about 6 oz of water and drink it quickly.I bought it to try as a last resort for some mysterious neck pain that my doctors can't seem to find the source of. Unfortunately, it didn't help with my neck pain at all - but it's so great at helping me sleep that I'm giving it 5 stars and will happily buy another when I run out.

This doesn't taste great but it isn't terrible. Everyone in my family can choke it down ok. It seems to have good bioavailability as it helps me sleep and not get restless legs, and it does not lead to loose stools. I have reordered like 8 times. It is now the only magnesium I take. I'm trying to address low red blood cell magnesium diagnosed by labs. I haven't yet re tested for RBC magnesium but hopefully it's making a difference. Prescribed by a naturopath.

A you-tube channel called "Pretty Over Fifty" recommended this product and I'm very grateful for the information. I can sleep so well with no leg issues of any kind....no cramps or jitters. I'm an active 80 year old.

Good product but be aware that the vaguely advertised “taste” is very strong so if you don’t like a mixed “berry” flavor in your drink you are better off with the Innate capsules. I’ll finish this powder but will probably go back to the excellent capsules.

This is delicious, right size, cost effective, & I'm told it is good for my heart. I mix it with 2 other nutritional mix supplements usually, but have had it in water by utself & it tasted great.
